      Lol john.

I would do a nice colony if tropheus or since you already have a demasoni, one of the most striking Malawi tanks I've ever seen was al garcias 75g tank he used to have.
It was a 75g with black sand white holy rock, a large school of yellow labs and a large school of demasoni.
Either way if yo u go with cichlids you will want to add a second canister rated for the same size or larger or a wetdry.

Bout what I was thinking...but with the white crushed coral substrate..I thought about some nice stacked black/grey slate in the corners, and some river stones in the middle. But think I definately like the lab/demasonis...maybe a good school of something else...trying to figure out a loach or botia that might make it in a tank with them.....

Cool..this will be my first time with the malawi type cichlids...I have had new world cichlids, but never kept these. I have a eheim 2217 that I was planning on putting on the tank too...it is the one that was polishing the pond..so its out of service for a few months til I can figure out something better. And I have a bunch of larger HOBs too, and a couple power heads for added circulation and current. Hoping to have this all put together and running by Christmas...
