Biocubes have the filtration for saltwater reef setups... Buy the water pre-mixed from a fish store and do some easy corals (shroom/zoas). Add a pair of clowns, tail-spot blenny, and a sand-sifting goby. Randall's prawn goby and wheeleri are my favorite "common" goby.

        Sweet setup.

I agree, I have the 14g biocube and I made mine into a reef setup.

          Stocklist:

          Half black damsel
          Black percula clownfish
          Green watchmen goby
          Anemone crab
          Blue leg hermit crab
          2x astrea snails

I'm about to stock some corals soon.

This thing is so easy to run as a sw tank.
One thing I do recommend is removing the stock hood and lighting and running a hob metal halide and an ato.
Will make it even easier then they ready are and you'll be able to keep more corals without having to worry so much about coral placement.

            If you want to stay fresh.... a few things pop into my head. Biocubes have lighting that should be able to grow most plants, so here is my idea list;

Killies, Badis (though you will never see them), Dannios, white clouds, dwarf gouramis, small school of cories, Betta..., guppies..., smaller rasboras. Shrimp tank!!!

Betta and Guppies certainly aren't my top choice, but they are pretty...
Scarlet badis are tiny, and you will never see them. The full-size badis love to hang out in clay pots, which you can arrange so you can see them.

Anything on the bay side of galveston. Sea-Wolf is the pretty standard place. East Beach is great if you want to wade (or can cast real good). The only problem with east beach is that it is the local party place. Seeing as most kids have off school tomorrow, you might have to deal with annoying drunk kids. If you are there early enough, there shouldnt be a problem.

San Louis pass is a great spot as well. Hit the sea-wall and head west. There is a pay bridge about 30 minutes down the road, but you park just before that. That is where moody does all their shark fishing/collecting, and I'm sure the flounder will be heading that way as well.

Wish you had reminded me earlier, I would have gone today. There is a great spot, but you have to be/be with a student or faculty member of A&M Galv.
