  • Ken's Fish Food

    Does anyone use this food?

    If so what's your opinion.

One of the forums says it's really good for Frontosa's.

I have used it in the past and never had a problem while feeding this food . I was breeding Peacocks .....Mbunas....and Fronts at the time and they all ate the food . I will say that my fish colored up faster when I was feeding NLS . Also , keep in mind if you buy NLS in the 5lb. bucket.....the price will be equal to Ken's Fish or cheaper .

        Sounds good.

I need to add some spirulina to my fronts diet.

The next time you place a order let me know and i'll go in with you.

          I have like 4 pounds.

          How much did you need?

Why do you want to add spirulina to the front's diet?
I ate my fish that died.

I feed tetra bits (daily) and frozen krill (2x a week).

I read on Cyphos where one of the more accomplished breaders feeds Ken's Spirulina 1 to 2x per week.

Figure it never hurts to put spirulina in the diet.

            What do you reccommend feeding?

+1, Rex is a balla using Dianichi! :)

That's the food combo I would go with, except I would add live cyps just to make it fun once in a while.

I use my GHAC gift cards at fish gallery. Go to a meeting, get you a gift card and get you some food. Lol

Kens is good stuff. I use the sinking growth pellets mixed with tetra color granules as a staple for my fish. the price per pound for the growth pellets is a bit better than most of the other foods they have.
