  • HELP!!! Fish in overflow box

Can anyone tell me what I can do to keep the smaller fish out of the overflow box for my wet/dry...I had a brillo type sponge over the end of the u-tube, but it restricted water flow...what can I do to keep fish out without slowing down flow?

I was taught this trick by a fellow HFB'r. Buy some screen material (non metal) from Home Depot and form it around your overflows! Piece of cake!

I like to let the fry get sucked up in the overflow box. It's easier for me to catch them out of it than the tank. Like Sue said a screen will keep them out.
