Gotta admit how much I love my Otos!
Today while making a water change I witnessed some very interesting behavior.
Since I have a 29 gallon tank WC's are Bucket and a cup only
I pour the water over a magfloat placed a couple inches above water level and pour over not disturbing the plants/substrate.
My 5 otos start to gather under the magfloat and begin swimming up the current of the water i'm pouring into the tank!
They get stuck on the glass above the water level, stay there for a bit and flop back into the water! And over and over again!
Anyone know any background on otos to know if they in the wild swim against river current? or stuck on rock under waterfalls?
Just thought I should share some oto behavior! :)
