  • Do you have the outputs directed down when the tank is filled?
    Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

    • Yeah, that's how they are when everything is operational. It's what works best given flow patterns in the tank. I drain through the output to the canister and fill up with python from the top.

        • Got back from College Station to this in the 100g tank with the Foai:

She's my first Cyp Kekese to hold and I hope she goes full term, after growing them out for about 10 - 12 months. I added a few from robovato to the leftovers of my original purchase so now I have 10 of them, and from the looks of it, it's a 3m/7f colony.

I've had Cyp Moba for just as long, but they were always housed with Trophs. That may be why they haven't bred yet but I don't have room for another dedicated tank.

Oh yes, I ended up having to back out of the sale for the 100g (sorry Joseph) because I was offered a colony of Troph Brichardi Namansi Reef, but looks like the Cyp Kekese are the reason I'm keeping it.

            • Thanks Bee. She's all of about 2.75" - 3". It's cute. She looks startled, like "WTF just happened?!"

                    • The rain, temp and pressure variances probably had something to do with it from what I've read.

                        • Thanks Jim. I've got breeding action in all four tanks, but so far the Polyodons have not held more than a couple of days at a time, and the Moliro have only held to term once. I'm hopeful that things will turn around.

                          • I'll be damned... caught them in the act this time so now I've got two Cyp Kekese females holding. I'll post video later after I get back home in the evening.
