    • I thought I'd use stain so that I can get the shade close to the other stands I have. The finish is not nice and even but that's ok by me.

if you don't like it, sand and re-stain :)

        • Exactly! I like it the way it is though. Happy with the outcome.

            • The wet/dry is a tight squeeze but it does go in and out without too much trouble

              • Really looks great. Rustic but still very clean. Best part is the fun of working on it and then being able to share it with people who appreciate this kind of stuff!

                  • Finally got around to swapping the fish from tank to tank last night. While I was at it I added a group of F1 moliros to the tangs, which makes for a lot of fish in the 125 gal tank now but I will be thinning it out the fish grow bigger.

So here's the 100 with the peacocks, geos, and acei:

The blue comes through well with just 8000K LEDs, no actinics.

And here's the 125 with tangs:

I'll repeat, I will be reducing the number of fish as they get bigger

                        • Yes they have! They have better appetites than the annectens and attack the NLS on sight! Feeding them cichlid formula and Thera+A, and also done spirulina flake. Should grow fast.

They already have good coloring so I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up with deep red moliros when they've grown. Congrats again! Keep posting updates as they grow.
