      • So a couple of weeks ago I started a hunt for a bigger tank to house my petros. While this was going on, I looked around for some cool rocks to put in the new tank. Ended up looking at Autonet's petro show tank and Beto's male peacock show tank and saw that they both had the kind I need. Found some at Alamo Stone and added it to the 125G to get a feel for how they'd look:

I like it! The striations and character are striking. Fish look good too next to them. Speaking of fish, time for some pics of the Moshi, couple of which is coloring up very well, and Polyodons:

Here's the LDA-31 orange spot pleco that came to me from Beto who got it from Tim:

And here are a few shots of the Troph. Red "Livua" that I bought from Beto, or should I say borrowed since he's buying them back from me:

And finally my P. Ikola Red Eye and Cyp. Kekese wanted to say a quick hello from their 20L:

            • Thanks B! He is indeed a very nice pleco. I have this urge to brush his coat every now and then though.

              And now the Moliro...

They move too fast... almost a great photo.

                • New tank update.

So thanks to a few my fellow Boxers and a couple of my neighbors, the 230G is on a stand and went from looking like this Sunday night...

                  ...to looking like this today

The overflow plumbing is almost done (got to install a proper length up-tube to attach the loc-line) and the bottom drilled holes have been plumbed to connect to a 2262. Preliminary leak tests on the fittings are good so tomorrow should go well. I hope to have everything tied up tomorrow and start filling it up to run pumps and filters. While this is going on I will do final cleaning and do a 90% WC before I go out of town Friday and leave the tank to cycle for a few days.

                          • Of course you'd think that Q! But no.

Have to go out of town so fill up is on hold till I get back, probably Monday. Everything else pretty much done.

2x 250W heaters in the sump and 1x 300W heater inline on the canister return line.

                            • Awesome! You and my current stand have thought me so much about what I need in my next set up: space underneath to do it right. Keep us posted.

                              • Thanks. I wanted to make the stand 6" taller but my apartment ceiling is only about 8.5ft so had to keep it at this height, which still allows for 33" clear vertical space. Definitely having fun with this and will keep updating as things happen.
