doe any one know what that dust bunny looking thing that is forming on my manzanita sticks is?

Is it a new piece of driftwood, like a white or almost transparent? If so its probably harmless. I had it on a few pieces of driftwood in two of my tanks it usually goes away in a few weeks. There are certain fish that will eat it like cory cats. I figured out that if you wipe it off it comes back and for me worked best to let it go through its natural coarse with the help of my cory cats.

It's going through the cycling process just like everything else has to. Don't stress over it. It'll just completely go away once cycled.
