I am trying to post a topic with some pics but it keeps saying that the file size for all attachments is too large. The file is only about 40KB, also when I try to attach the link so that it shows the pic all it shows is [img]http..... and doesnt show the pic. Is anyone else having this problem?

I ran across the same issue. I ended up having to post my pictures in flickr/yahoo and from there use the img just like you have been.
This is how I solved the issue.
