Chinese algae eaters

Does any one knw about these do they tend to pick on cichlids just asking cause aquarium world,has them for 2.50 this,week and thought,bout getting one..

CAE's are bad news in my experience unless you have a very large tank for them (like a 125). In smaller tanks they pick on fish, eat their slimecoat, and cause alot of trouble...and they don't eat algae.

Don't these usually go for like .99 else wheres?
