Sealing filters

Ok I.had cracked my aquaclear and resealed it with aquarium sealant and was wondering if I could out sealant inside the fiter as well cause today it sprung a leak ...

Make sure its completely dry before applying the sealant and then let the silicone fully cure before using it again.

But can I put sealant inside the filter?

Either use aquarium sealant from the LFS or only use 100% silicone with no mold/mildew inhibitors

Yea thats what I have aquarium sealant from petsmart

Clean real good, wipe down with alcohol, might help to rough up the surface some for the silicone to hold and then give it a go.

Let dry overnight for silicone to cure.
