why my tank water has a burnt smell to it?!?!?

    Q you do you have a cut test the tank tmw!!... lol i wanted to keep it in the same thread... but dont know how to edit the topic so i can ask both at the same time... lol...

      i think i figured it out... tmw i will do a 80-90% water change to rid the smell thats already there... it was my powerhead... and since i only did a 50% yesterday the other 50% of the smell was still lingering... thanks for the help guys... lol

        water changes should decrease the smell.

            Baking soda will increase pH and downy will make the water soft. No bueno
