  • 300 gallon Hap, Peacock, Front tank! Pics!

    Well here is my 300 gallon African tank! My males are just starting to color up....and as you can see there are 2 comets that I started the tank with enjoying their body of water!! And I tried to get a couple pics of Jaws, my 20 inch 12 yr old common Pleco!! Enjoy!! Ohh I am a amateur fish picture taker!

          That is incredibly beautiful :)  I love how your fish have all the space in the world to roam around in.  Hopefully next year when I have a tax return I can start working on getting a 180g or 175g bow front in my living room so my SA cichlids can have a bigger place to live.

            My hubby did the stand!! I am VERY Rustic....so I had him build it!
            I thought that big of a tank would hold me for a while...but of course I want bigger!!

                8O  !!! Nice tank ... but IMHO the ceramic tiles kinda throws it off ... Awesome rockscape otherwise !!!

                  They are Slate tiles....Thanks for your opinion... I was just trying to cover the intakes. Wv....he would be happy to, but we live all the way up in Sherman :(

                    Not a problem for me as I make it to Dallas 3 or 4 times a year.
                    At the end of this month I am planing a trip to Oklahoma. But I dont need now. He could do it n his spare time no rush on my end.

                      You could use Krylon fusion to paint those tubes black so it blends in with the background....

                          Make sure you let the paint cure for atleast a day before you put it in your tank
                          So many things can be a mystery, when all we're seeking is freedom...
