Anyone know of a place to get feeder Lizards? I found a website but the minimum order is huge. They're house geckos.

I'm trying to stay away from mammalian protein sources, including beef heart. Plus mice fur isn't too easy to digest and can cause blockages. I don't want to risk that.

125 gallon long ~ African cichlids

What kind of lizards are they?
Don't tell fish stories where people know you; but particularly, don't tell them where they know the fish.

Yeah, I'm going to set out lizard traps at night when it warms up.

House geckos have been what I've seen for sale as feeder lizards.

What kinds of traps do you set ? They like to hang out near porch lights and catch bugs at night , or sheets of plywood against house, shed, fence in the day time .

These are the kind I used to use as a Kid and had a lot of luck. That Or I'd take sewing thread with a Loop tied to a stick and I'd "Fish" for them.

Nice . First I ever heard of a lizard trap . I think I'll make one with my kids this spring , just for fun "Catch and release" I don't have anything to feed them too .

That's what I used to do when I was younger. I'd keep the lizards like a week, and then let them go in my grandpa's vegetable garden. =)

if they are wild caught gekkos, they will likely have internal parasites...especially when it warms up. something to consider. you can buy frozen hairless mouse sickles too if the hair is the only reason to stay from mammalian protein. i would consider earthworms or silkworms if they will take them.

Just wait till spring weather comes and collect them at night from around your porch light!

I used to smack flys with a fly swatter and have a old fishing pole with some fishing line attached to the end and just stab the line into a fly and dangle it at the green lizards and they would jump up and catch it lol
