New fish -> Roseline Sharks

AKA red line torpedo barb, or Denison barb (Puntius denisonii)

What a nice looking fish.

I got away with four with plans for one more of these from Mike's place today (thanks Mike for holding these).  They are about 2.5 to 3 in.  Put them in the tank just before feeding time to distract any bullies.  They took their place right away swimming in the middle of the tank.  After a few laps they started eating some freeze dried tube worms.  

They've been tight schoolers, just like at the store, and to me look like a big sized rummy nose.

Great looking fish, not for the small tank as they are very active and will grow larger.  Mike has kept three that aren't for sale that you can go look at in his planted show tank if he doesn't have them in stock.

I also have couple of them. Bought them in Fish Gallery 2 month ago and probably will buy some more.
They are really nice, active, colorful and peaceful fish. Anyone succeeded in breeding these sharks?  
That is a real challenge.

Yeah each....al the other places are selling them for $20-30 ea.

Glad to hear they are doing good. I just got a batch in today, yours are about 3" the ones I just got in are 2.5" can't pick and choose when they send them. When they say 2"-3" they mean it, hehe. Just was hoping for the bigger size of that equation. Well any way, I added 4 more to the planted tank so now I have seven in there. They school just fine. Feel free to come by and pick yours up.
