Gee looks like the storm missed us again.


Funny thing though cause it hit land where I was just not but a few days ago. During katrina we never lost power where I am at.

In the early 80's I was without power for 3 weeks.
In the early 60's My Dad's new house was totaled.
Seems like every 20 years we get a bad one
and now we're overdue.

We did get one........NO got hit and all their rejects were dumped on us.

i hear that mike is hosting this next has meeting at his fish shop, i suggest a member please do a presentation on battery back up ways to help keep our fish secure in the event of emergencies???? i know i would appreciate all the input about it.....pumps, batteries, ect......

Mike is hosting the Lake Houston Aquarists meeting on the 7th of Sept.  Mike may have agreed to host a meeting for HAS too, but I've haven't seen anything posted.

Well if they aren't rejects they have nothing to worry about.....and to soften it up a bit....I was born in NO and had plenty of family re-homed due to the matter. It was a jokey joke in reply to PP post and it is the internet.
