stingrays?

Not to filled in on them. I know Potamotrygonidae's are illegal in Texas but, is there any other ray thats fresh that isn't illegal?

The Florida stingray is the only one I know of.

thats a huge ray! haha and I thought that they only live in fresh for the first years of their lives?

Never mind on the size part. They only get big in the wild (4' plus) but, I want one that I could keep it's whole life in fresh but, doesn't seem like I'll be getting one /:

Don't give up on it. I know fish gallery sells the Florida stingrays. I'd research them and if there straight fresh which I'm pretty sure they are, I could see keeping them.

I might look into it more because I wanted to make a large oddball tank for the living room which is why I wanted a ray. I was gonna end up getting a 250 or 300 (probably make a custom acrylic tank because I had success with my DIY sump )

I work in Louisiana and live in Spring, lol. I will say that I have seen them in the shops around Lafayette...
