After reading through everything, it sure has been a rough tank for you, but I think it'll be worth it when it's all said and done (if it isn't worth it already).
Thanks Tony. I was thinking of you when all the disasters were goin on cuz I know you've had your fair share of 'em. The tank is finally becoming worth it (even though it's still brown and medicated and doesn't have any plants in it). Those geos are gorgeous and somehow made it through all the crap. They're cute as hell too, digging and fighting all day, and the pair snuggles sometimes too. Lol!

        ****? hehehehehe

A tank thread isn't only for pics! Sometimes you just need advice. Or to vent. Whatever. I learn a lot from reading tank threads but sometimes I also just scroll through for pics.

So should I take down all the vids just cuz the title doesn't say "VIDS!" ?

Well I added Copper Safe April 1st or so, and I've just been letting that marinate in there. I think I can probably do a good sized water change soon but I want to be sure everything I don't want to be alive in there is dead!! Oh and the water's brown from when I was dosing Ich Attack, and because of the peat. Had to pull out the Purigen while medicating.

The tank will definitely be worth. I've had Gymnogeophagus balzanii in the past. I really liked them. . . but my favorite is Bujurquina vittata. Not quite Geophagus, but I think they're closely related. Definitely the fish I'd like to get back. . . actually, now I'm mad because I don't have them.

Actually, I wonder how Gymnos would do in an outdoor pond. Anyone know? They need a 3-4 month cooling period.

Wow, those both look really cool! You got an outdoor pond Tony? You would hardly be able to see your gymnos though!

If I didn't I'd get sued for medical negligence. Professional hazard.

No, but I'm hoping that I will have one at some point. . . with a window in it.
