    I still have a few in my tank that I didn't smush! I could put them in the fridge and bring them to the meeting! We could have tiny snail appetizers! LMAO! Yeah, I smushed quite a few...there is just something really satisfying about that crunching noise under my feet...     :wink:

            hmmm... Snail zombies! I will have to watch my tank for some of those! LOL! It's empty right now except for the gravel and a decoration. I couldn't resist putting water in it though! Hehehe! I really want to see about getting my filter either tomorrow or Friday. The tank is a 30 gallon. I am also looking for some pretty plants, but that is for another post...

                  Loopy, I would be a bit worried about the dead snails rotting in your tank causing problems that way. If you are just starting up the tank it could help you by causing an ammonia spike which the beneficial bacteria will eat up but still watch for it.

                  As for eating snails.....they are yummy if you know how to cook them.

                  60 days huh CF....does it bother you to be around smokers? I am sure there will be plenty of them at the meet is why I am asking. I plan on quitting soon as well but probably not till after the meet.

                  A Little over 10yrs smoking for me....it should be a relief when I quit and the MTS disease will finally have more funding with an extra $10 a day.

                    At Mike's The outdoor patio is where there is space and where puffers will be seated (Scott is a puffer, and many others including myself) therefore I am think part of the social gathering will be outside on the patio, but there is a ton of space so we should all be good.

                      Well yeah but I know when I quit for a few months not too long ago the sight of a puffer kinda made me edgy and tempted me but then again the smell turned me off.

                      Just making sure the temptation doesn't cause anyone to fall off the wagon.

                      I am a smoker myself....heavy smoker at that and the last little pow wow at Mike's I didn't see any NON-Smokers so the numbers will be up there.

                        I know the feeling.. When I asked Mike about the amount of smokers and if this was going to be a non-smoking function his answer was short and simple.  Mike : I am a smoker, this will be a smokers allowed function or else it will not last long.

                            Oddly enough, it doesn't bother me or tempt me to be around folks who are smoking, it is only when I am up close to someone I can say it really makes me glad I quit.

                            I'm not going to hound any of you who do smoke, all I will say is, I'm glad, no I'm truly grateful, that I am a non smoker these days.

                            I gave myself a $100.00 raise when I quit.

                              CF I know the feeling.. I have slowly cutting back for the last two years.. I attempt only to smoke when I really want a cig and in social gatherings.  (by far the worst)  I can kill a pack in an evening if I am having fun and talk to friends..  when I am home I almost never smoke until late night..

                                wow....I smoke 2pks a day and that's just from 6pm-8-9am  8O

                                Social gathering,drinking,poker night.....gets much worse.
