Agreed. To me though it's all about the fish you keep and how you keep them. Don't know how much they mind the silicone and rims. :)

I'm sure it's absolutely amazing to have such a lovely and perfect tank... I'm not convinced it should affect what you keep in it.

different viewpoints... I'm more into the gear and what makes the tank setup. fish are fish but they compliment the hardscape and gear.

            agree to disagree.

            LoL

in rational thinking, the money spent on a 120p and custom made stand would be better spent to get a much larger tank which I'm sure just about any fish would appreciate much more. But I'm almost positive this tank is probably meant to please the person setting it up and his/her significant other more.

[QUOTE=aquabee;587522]Wild super rare angels, yes, expensive. Wasn't meaning those.

Why's everyone so crazy bout ADA tanks?

I think its a case of a showcase aquarium meant to showcase fish. I guess its like running low grade gas in a Ferrari. With a tank like that it draws attention and whatever fish/livestock should draw attention and accent the beauty of the aquarium. It is always up to the owner, but I suppose its just normally done in that manner.

I guess it is a guy thing... When i bought my truck I had three engine choices V6, 4.7 V8, and 5.7 HEMI V8... Which one do you think I got?

ADA Tank same thing... If it wasn't an ADA tank I wouldn't have gotten another tank. I found out about it did some trading with Justin with some non aquarium stuff and here we are.

depends on what you're looking for really. if you're not growing plants and are going to install the unit in a canopy it could be done for a couple hundred. using CREE xm-l leds they will put down a ton of light in a neutral or cool white. you can add multiple channels to run a some blue leds and make it a bit cooler temp. if you'd like i can pm you a proper quote.

2x150w Halide with ADA 8000k bulbs. I've never seen a nicer rating MH bulb or nicer bulb period.
