I have kept Calvus for 5 years now in a community tank with other Tanganyikans. They are very peaceful if kept alone but I've never had good luck when kept in pairs. They hide in the rocks all day long. I might see mine once or twice a week. mine eat NLS and Dianichi sinking pellets. I don't recommend them with aggressive fish (specifically Malawi fish). Also, if you plan on breeding anything in the tank, Calvus will usually ruin that because they eat eggs. If you need any additional info, feel free to ask. :)

They're really slow growing too so they're nice for the smaller tank at first.
