I am looking for someone locally that breeds blue angelfish? I would love to purchase some for my tanks.

Fish Gallery had some about a week or two ago, and they know the breeder. Talk to Don.

...and if Bee's advive above doesn't pan out for you, I think I saw some at Houston Aquarium Warehouse about 2 days ago (call ahead to confirm). They usually stock the best selection of angels in Houston IMO. I have no idea if their breeder is local or not. Their stock is all aclimitized to Stafford water if thats any help.

There was a breeder of them locally... the name escapes me but if you get with Charles of C and R Tropical he could help you find her. She's a member of HAS.

Also this thread would probably be of more help to you if posted in the sale section.

I am getting into it. I have a bunch of juvies and 2 near adults from fish ranch. I am also getting 8 adults of off aquabid this week. Hopefully, I can get a pair from 1 of the ones from fish ranch and 1 of the ones from aquabid. After that, I will probably be looking to move some out.

I can't believe you could talk about John's and not mention the word Discuss :) +1 for HAW he has premium and hard to find fish, tanks are clean and he's a great guy.

Well, I didn't mention it because the OP wasn't looking for discus. I would concur with you that he has the best discus selection in town as well. Also notable for their corys and tetras. They must have fantastic resources for getting their hands on all the South American stuff.
