It seems to me the majority of the list of prohibited fish species in our state are simply on that list for because of some stupid overhyped fears. Really the state is afraid people are going to release 1000+ dollar stingrays? It seems to me the list should be re evaluated. Any way to get this done?

Why are we the minority? Because of misinformation and hype. These fish are legal one state away and they hant had the problems that are feared

TPWD very rarely reverses course on banned or limit restrictions on fish be it game or tropical fish.

They lowered redfish limits years ago and it's been proven that the populations are as stong as ever.

Your right cross into Louisiana and bag limits raise and restrictions are more relaxed. Louisiana also is home to 40% of the nations wetlands.

Thats my point, if anything they'd have more to fear over introduced fish species finding a home in there waters.

Lol, not necessarily it means they can be sold out in the open but its still more of a specialty market for some of these fish

Besides once the googerment takes control of something you will never get it back... The easiest thing to do if you want these fish is to move lol
