What krylon color should spray paint my new custom 63gal 48"x14"x24" tank background?

Leaning towards:
Tuscan Sunset or Coral Isle or Raspberry

Tank will have a pool sand bottom.



Been here done that colors:
totally tangerine



blue / black = no thanks

If you ask Matt he like Watermelon (Pink) HMMM Try Raspberry. you can always change it if you don't like it. Just take pics and post. By the way there are no names on the color chart.

You dont think Raspberry will be too dark? Raspberry has some wow factor, plus I cant find any tanks painted that color.

Of course its going to look different than on the computer after 'greenish glass tint' and tank light. So you really never know what the final will look like until its done.

I didnt really spend but a day putting my gum drop tank up after I sold the 125g totally tangerine.. Now them discus are getting big and since I didnt kill them a year later I figured I would get em a nice tank!

my gum drop tank doesnt really fit the room its in very well... But that tank was free from family so u cant beat that price

Why you you try to grab the color paper from homedepot and see what colors you like on the tank before actually buying it or even start painting. That's what I would do.

feel free it turned out well, u just gotta mess with with bulbs to get the right look

If you're keeping discuss go with a lighter color so you don't get speckling. Other then that I'm colorblind so not much of an OP :)

That tangerine was beautiful. Very tranquil looking tank. Raspberry does sound interesting though! My vote's for that one.

Ended up choosing Raspberry, already picked up the paint. Waiting on tank to be done, should be here friday. i will prob paint it friday night.

i will start a new thread with pictures while im waiting for paint to dry friday night ;p

i think its going to look close to matts watermelon tank, the spray can was right next to watermelon, ras is just a hair darker
