  • which tetra???

I need ideas on which medium sized tetras I should put in my 30g long.

    Currently it houses :

1 F1 pair Geophagus Pindare 'Parnaibai'
    1 F1 Acarycthis Heckeli
    5 cories
    1 clown loach
    1 yoyo loach
    1 horseface loach

I'm not looking for anything common, ie no serpaes, diamonds, lemons, blackskirts, ect.

I'm at a loss, Lmk what yall can come up with.

Hmm... I have like 20 roselines and really like them, they've held up great in my troph tank. I've only lost maybe 5 to the fish eating them.

          I think hatchets are cool.
Harlequins and ember tetra are amongst my fav.

Thanks, cichlid1409 pointed it out and it suits

I had a couple roselines, they didn't make it through the water change disaster.
Those get alittle bigger then I'd like but I love the way they look and they school sooo tight.
            Embers a clean as fawk.
My girl wants those gold tetras, but I can't have anything too small or too large.
I don't want them so small the geos eat them, but I also don't want them too big and take away from the geos.

I don't know much about the different tetras species aside from what I've kept which isn't a lot.

I'm assuming as in the rainbow?
Hadn't thought about those, come to think fork tail blue eyes or celebrate would look clean too.
                Hmmm.
I need to hurry and sell my stuff lol.

My favorite tetra is the Congo. Big schoolers with awesome finnage and colors on the males.

Well, it looks like fork tails or furcatas are going to be it.
Is it a problem it my tank is open top?

Mine haven't jumped, but my only predators are the comps, and they stay near their shells at the bottom. It's worth a try!!
