I fear it will not be.

Cypress isn't too far off from me and my water is still heavy in chloramines.

Isn't it like that everywhere around Houston?

I know HAW is having issues with that too. But around the med center area I haven't had any problems... yet. **knocking on wood**

From my past experience the med/midtown area comes later.

I had mad chloramine at the old apt.

                        yea

I test my tap water for ammonia before water change. If ammonia shows up I recharge my water softener overnight and do a water change the next day. I know you don't have a softener but you will how much crap is in your water and can treat as needed

One day I'll have a carbon bottle. For now, I always double dose Amquel Plus or Prime during a water change. And I always have salt and Stability on hand, 2 things I'll never be without.

I had one fish dead this morning. He was still breathing. But I could not take it. I hope he was the last one. Can I foam other water change? Or is that 2 many in a week?
