well I've been busy today lol...

Figured out a way to have filter foam at the inlet of my river manifold... turns out that fluval edge pre filters are a perfect fit inside 1.5" pvc pipe lol... It is kinda ghetto but it will do till I figure out a pump pre filter...

Mounted a surge protector. Picked up some acrylic to paint for my background and of course some sand...

the prefilter actually looks pretty good. i use those fluval edge foamies for intake strainer prefilers on small canisters. looking badassed with sand in there...

Yea I use those little foams on a lot of things pre filters on canisters power heads lol I just made up the extender/housing and painted them yesterday and drilled and tapped them today...

It is a lot of sand lol cheap to the guy even loaded it in my truck... Lesslies Pool Supply needs to sell more aquarium stuff lol.

My filter should be here tomorrow hope the ups guy comes early lol. After I get the filter that is pretty much it except for hard scape then fish.

I am getting the urge to buy a MP40 though...

I know they are adjustable, but the undertow of an mp40 will bring all your sand to one side. Plus all the flow you already have I bet it'd be a sand storm. But hey if your goin baller might as well go all out lol...

Just the one pump is already moving sand around lol... I've always wanted a mp40 and can't be baller without one I am trying to stay away from places that sell them lol
