You plan on hard lining the 2262 as well? I would use some sort of flexible tubing inbetween just in case you shift the filter around to keep pressure off those holes.

Yea the filter and pump will be soft lined

How much substratpro or seachem matrix like 10 liters?

I think if you use just the coarse sponge and media only... more like 15L

Seachem Pond matrix comes in 20L buckets.
