+1. Go for the look Nick.

I - 45 soil on I-45 northbound past 1960 has a top of river rock, pallet worth you can choose from.
      I think like under $0.20lb.
It's white rock, then j & j nursery on 2920 almost to 45 has gray large 8"-25" boulders for like $0.11lb.

Alamo stone has brown river rock... that's closer to you Nick.

I stopped using eggcrate myself... high flow + fish = booboo look.
I placed the 300lbs of fossil rock straight onto the glass with no problems, just gotta be careful placing them.

              River Manifold Installed.

So went to Lowes and Home Depot and picked up some supplies.

Would have finished sooner but the neighbors gardeners spotted a baby gator under their truck so I had to catch him to see if I was now working on a gator tank. But the wife said no and he was to big for the tank anyway lol.

Some pictures of the baby gator first lol.

Ok back to the tank... My Pump and lights will be here Monday. Then I can decide on the filter after I test the flow with just the pump.

What is the garden mat exactly? I've seen a reference to it once before. I did a search of Home Depot's website for garden mat and didn't turn up anything that looked like you would put it on the bottom of or under the bottom of a tank? Someone have a link and a quick explaination?
While I'm not reef ready, I am salt ernate lifestyle curious...
