Flourite

I bought some Flourite today and washed it for 2 hours or so the water is still slightly cloudy but I can easily see through all sides of the tank. Can I move stock from the old tank they are in to this new tank? I have moved most of the plants and decor already and the filter will be coming as well.

They will be fine... Just check the ammonia before putting them in.

I would wait and let the water stabilize before transferring them over.

Ammonia between .25 and .5. Had a ghost shrimp in for about an hour or so with no issues.

Ghost shrimp lasted almost 5 hours alone then I did a wc and moved everything over and found out that I have another group of fry with a third on the way probably. But anyways everything is moved and water looks clear.

Should be ok but dont rush things Chris. Take your time and do it right.

Woke up this morning and the water was crystal clear and everything seemed happier, more active, and brighter colors. During the switch my prego endler ended up having her fry. Now I have guppy and endler fry with another guppy looking prego. I may have to get the 10 gallon reestablished to be a fry tank.

i have added flourite to established aquariums and it always clears up pretty quickly since i do actually rinse it then. eco complete is really clean straight out of the bag but i dont like to use it just by itself.
