Vibration recuction

since i live in a apt. built by the lowest builder, putting a tank on a stand on the hard floor brings up a vibration issue. (it's a small apt)

What have you used to to put on the floor to reduce vibration?

I live in an apt too , down stairs with faux hardwood. What i did was went to home depot and had them cut a peice of carpet from the rolls. I just used some grey thin stuff. It was less then 1.00 per foot. Keeps stand from scratching floor and helped to even the tank.

yep i was thinking carpet would do the trick, just wondering if any one else had anything better to use
