And hey, assumptions happen... I learned to always ask for measurements before buying secondhand. I almost drove 2 hours for a killer deal on a "120g", and when I decided to ask for the measurements just to start thinking about where it was going to go, it turned out to be more like a 60.

i had the exact situation off CL for a 4ft 150 gallon that turned out to be a 55gal. boy was a bummed. good thing i asked about the doorway before driving an hour and a half.
