I think get the vortech mp40 and remove two power heads and maybe a fan for the top of the tank...

or call up sunkendrilla and go with canisters...thats starting all over though. what if you made longer intake strainers and output spraybars for the powerheads so that the motor was above the surface of the water? you would have to shift your river manifold so that the powerheads were close to the glass and not sticking up in the middle of the tank.75G Standard - High Light Planted Community Fish

Thanks for the input and comments, y'all. You've given me some ideas. I have two canisters on it now; Eheim 2217s. I'm not married to the manifold. I may be able to get rid of it and the other powerheads and go with a couple mp40s. I'll price some chillers, too. Thanks a bunch, guys!
