well i remember these fish in Vietnam. They would sell them live not in a tank but on top of a big silver pan that is moist with water. these fish can breathe air for a long while and i gotta admit, they are some of the tastiest fish i have eaten. Good eating as i always say.

Parks and wildlife doesn't mess with alot of small stuff when it comes to hobby-level fish, but don't mess with snakeheads or piranha. That's a national pandemic that needs to get stomped out. Unfortunately people will keep them just to keep something illegal.

The funny thing is, they wouldn't be getting released if they were actually as cool as people thought. Piranhas get released when people find out they are just a big tetra that doesn't do a whole lot.
