I had a console TV in my first apartment about 10 years ago which actually worked.
I converted another to a tank but have no idea where that one is.

I still see them near dumpsters, if you are serious about wanting one I could snatch one for you next time I come across one. Dumpster diving is fun

not really. My Tv tank had a hinged doorway in the top that wasn't too noticeable when shut. It would probably have been better to saw off the entire top and make that into a lift top hinged access to the tank. Would have been a smoother look.
