If you're going to do trophs then you need two piles. I've always hated scaping 55g tanks. I've got a different light if you want to try it out.

I got the red schist from Alamo stone a while back. It was the last they had in a back corner on a disintegrating pallet. They had tons of green schist though. The red has a rust color to it, at least when it's out of water135 gal Fahaka Puffer
