How many trophs can a 40 gal hold?

Just setup a 40 long tank and have 14 trophs Thai gave me. They are all frys now but will I have to get a bigger tank and can I fit more in there?

At the size I would think thai gave you I would say about 20-30 till they get some size, possibly closer to 2" which might take almost a year.

You could dwarf them and put even more.

put as much as you want in there just do often waterchanges... just do more waterchanges... i do water changes every 2-4 days... mondays and thursdays...

I wouldn't suggest stunning the growth of the fish.... Just to keep them in a small tank. I think you are fine for now, give it about a year and move them up to a 100 gallon or so

I stun my fish every time I turn the tank lights on. They seem to get over it rather quickly.
