    Sumida Aquarium

    Sumida Aquarium opened last month in Tokyo. Here are a few pictures that were taken while there.

    The two tanks taken at entrance were designed by Takashi Amano (ADA):










    Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
    Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
    Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?

              After the first two aquariums, you entered a Jellyfish room

                  There was a little 'prep room' that had lots of freshwater stuff near the Amano tanks . . .

                  It had a bunch of 10-30g tanks. one had a goby that I found interesting.

                  It was labelled, but I can't read Japanese, so I'll post a photo of the label that I took once I find it.

                            The jelly room was both my wife and my favorite out of the aquarium.
