T5 for Cichlid tank

Hey guys,

I have a quick question about T5ho lights on a cichlid tank. What kind of bulbs are the best for it? 6700k or 10000k?

I know the 6700k is for freshwater but I'm not growing any plants.

I'm leaning towards 10000k because it would be brighter/whiter but I heard the actinic bulb will produce a lot of algae. I'm also not sure how the cichlid will respond to it.

Any advice?

Personally I prefer and use the 10,000k and the 50/50 bulbs for my African cichlids.

I like the 6700k and Colormax look. But hey, I prefer a wArmer look.
