    I haven't kept them but had a friend who did. They're beautiful little guys and the orange/red under their legs is stunning.

        i think they could be kept outdoors in a well secured area. they have become invasive in FL. like roy says, the winter would be hard on them unless you provide a warm microclimate. this could be a 12-18" deep (below ground level) burrow or a DIY cave with heater tape and controller. staying out of the wind is key here too so at least one or better two solid sides to the environment. you could also just bring them inside for out three weeks of cold lol.

          ah, i couldnt find any really good pictures when i did a quick search but it looked like they might have flash colors. that is what i like about the leaf / monkey frogs and flying (Rhacophorus sp) frogs too. the flying frogs are really cool but would likely need a larger enclosure.
