Vietnam! Cheap Equipment!

So I'm in Northern Vietnam, Haiphong, Hanoi, Ha Giang, Cat Ba, Ha Long, and Do Son areas.
So much stuff, so cheap, only limited things to bring back, so many nice planted, shrimp, angel, koi, arrowana, DISCUS, and flowerhorn tanks, mostly discus.

They got some nice nano tanks for dirt cheap here, 7 bucks for a 15 gallon. Discus are dirt cheap here too, nice discus are 20 bucks. I got me some scaping rocks, still don't know if they're inert or not, but they look nice.

Almost every household up here has a tank and there are some really nice planted shrimp tanks. I will upload pictures of stuff I bought when I get back to Haiphong.

Lighting, LEDs are dirt cheap too. I bought a really bright LED spot for 15 bucks. You can make DIY Very bright LED lights for 8 bucks.


SO much stuff, going to a lot of cafe stores to take pics of their tanks.

I wonder how my shrimp colonies back home in Houston are doing. Hope they didn't die out under my gf's care.

I'm also going back to VN in Sept. I'm see what's popping with the ADA glass work. Most likely hoard as much as possible and bring it back.

I was noticing that too ! LOL I'm not , but you all are running deep in da box. We have been planning a trip to Vietnam for some time now . Hopefully next summer, my wife is Vietnamese but has never been there.
