does SE asia have a long history of aquaria keeping? the fact that the area has gone all in over the recent years has probably been a boon to the hobby. i'm sure there are many critters now available only as a result of this explosion.

Goody updates. My two nano tanks. Top one is a 5.2gall and the bottom is my 6.5gall. I have the 10gall that is still in the shop being work on with the dimensions of 20cmX20cmX70cm.

Tomorrow, or whenever the weather clears up, going to hike Cat Ba and Ha Long to find some scaping rocks. I don't understand what đập đá means. I used that word while trying to explain that I wanted to get some rocks but they laughed and called me pervert.

I thought I had found some nice mountain rocks. Turns out to be high quality anthracite carbon/coal. Don't know if it's usable.

I'm using this as substrate and it contains "coal slag abrasives". My fish are doing fine. Not sure about those rocks of yours though...

Now I want to go to Vietnam! I'd probably spend 1000 there! Maybe instead of going to Italy, Germany, and Spain I can go to Vietnam!
