If I was to separate him from the tank. Do you use any rock or anything or just a filter air and water

Should I treat in main tank or separate him to a ten gallon

pull him out and in to a 10g and treat him. you don't need rocks or even a filter just lots of air and meds. you will need to do water changes 50% everyday with the meds. or what ever the meds tell you.

I put him in his own tank and he ended up jumping out of the tank I found him laying in kitchen floor about ten foot from tank. So I picked him up and he was flopping so I decided to give him a chance at least now hes back in tank with a lid over it and he's not swimming much but he's breathing. Hea fighting hard hopefully hell pull though

If you keep fish. you will have fish die.

That's understandable in two years that's only my second one to die. First one that I've had for awhile
