For his stand, he will need something similar like mine and Sunnys as far as the top goes (where the tank sits since he is getting and ADG bottom drilled tank).
3/4" hardwood 4' x 8' sheet cut into (X2) 2' x 6' @ .75" inch thick. Lowes Pine is 46.99 each Home depot Oak is 44.99 each
I gave him a pdf and lots of info on what he will need.
he will need atleast:
(X2) 4' x 8' .75 thk hardwood sheet
dremmel (lowes - to cut holes on the hardwood)
(X4 packs) 2-5/8" or 3" Black wood screws (wal-mart)
(X4 packs) 1-5/8" Black wood screws (wal-mart)
Power drill (cordless or cord with multiple phillips fittings, just in case)
Wood Glue
Wood shavings (you can collect in with a ziplock bag at lowes for free when they cut your "wood")
2" x 4" (cut to w/e lenght desired and in his case = cut to the length of 41" tall)
All wood cuts should be done at Lowes (I loved the guys at I-10 and Fry, they were all cool with me and we did fug around alot and did they did not charge me for certain materials)
That is just the stand itself w/o staining & materials, etc...
Plan ahead and make mental notes of how you want the end product to be.
this will run at least 160 beans on the wood for stand.
Just FYI
I planned and saved while my pipe and valves were ordered let alone I designed mine in ACAD and Inventors for custom fit to my liking
I still need to do the doors and with the extra material I will make a different canopy
So, Yeah. It has cost me more than 200 beans on the stand - ONLY
