lol this thread is like my convicts life story, i bred them in a 10g (they are more prolific than any bunnies ive seen), its actually kinda cool to see the tank so full, feedings were fun for the whole family! big water changes daily become important as the fry grow. when the parents spawned again, i would take out the 1st batch of babies, into the 75g! fair warning, i have yet to find a carnivorous fish who will eat convict fry, they all just ignore them. eventually all my convicts wound up in the 75g, so i could use the 10g for my baby fire eel, and now they breed in there with the oscars, texas, parrot, and bichir. i have a new batch right now.
side note, my original proud mama convict has left her proud papa and is now hooked up with mr parrot, they've spawned 3 or 4 times now with no success.
my fish house:
2.5g- ramshorn hatchery
6g eclipse- yellow shrimp, chili rasboras, yellow apple snails
29g- geo grow-out, angels, 12"fire eel, dwarf frog, apple snails
45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers
75g- 2 oscars, parrot, silver dollars, albino channel cat, syno euptera, bichir, baby jaguar, convicts, yabby
125g- fahaka puffer, rainbow shark
