    Rapashy Soilent Green

    As y'all know John at Houston Aquarium Warehouse got in several flavors of Rapashy foods so I got me a 2oz pack of Soilent Green to give it a try.

    Followed directions. 1/4 cup of SG plus 3/4 cup of water mixed together well and nuked for about 3 minutes and stirred well again and let sit till solid. Then cut into chunks. Stuff didn't stick to the tupperware container I did all this in.

    Put a little piece in my 100gal with my Green Murago and sp. Black Kiriza and here's what happened. This is the first time I've given my fish this food and they went at it. Same story for my sp. Red Moliro tank but they chased the two pieces I put in there inside the rocks so a video would have showed nothing of note. Gonna give my sp. Red Lunangwa Souths and Yellow Muragos a piece when I get back home in the evening.

    Get with John, he's got plenty to go around and will order more.

    That's cool! I like the way the ones in the other tank act. Like they can get over and get some...

        It's on Murphy Rd, just south of W Airport in Stafford. Taking the belt, it would about 30 minutes maybe

          I got some soilent green and some meat pie from ken's fish. I mixxed the same way but added some extra ingredients. the fish love it and it's easy to make and store.

            Yeah, I got some repashy products from HAW too. Fish & shrimp love it. I dropped some of the solient green into one of the crystal tanks & within minutes there was a swarm of shrimp on the food. Gone within 10 - 15 min. Good stuff.

              What 'extras' did you add???

                I put blanched spinach, steamed shelled peas and blanched kale in the food processor. Added some extra chlorella and spirulina. Once all this was pureed, added to the soilent green/meat pie mix.
