  • Want to add frontosa to 55 gallon tank

I have 2 CALVUS, 2 leleupi, 7 julies, and I want to add two frontosa. Will this be okay? They are all going to be juveniles. I want to add a male and a female frontosa. Anything is appreciated!

Find a male female pair as juvies is basically impossible until they get to around 4" at best

Julies and leleupi depending on size could be tough on small fronts

I tried that before and didn't work
Once they grow big they will fight even with a female
By that time I how one male 11" and a female of 7"

Maybe will work for a year or more until they grow big

          What about just a female?

You could do just one Frontosa, but imo that looks funky and the tank would just look a bit empty and unbalanced. I've seen tanks with singled out Fronts vs tanks with a colony of Fronts. I would definitely take the colony of Fronts over the singled out one.

You have a good stock base for a 55. Maybe add a handful of brichardi's and let em grow.
