Should I keep my bristle nose pleco or trade him in? I want my Julie's to have babies but I'm scared the pleco will eat them

Shouldn't be too much of a problem if the BN pleco is fed

      +1

Also have to say it depends on how aggressively the parents will protect the offspring.

You won't have any problems any time soon since your Julies are still juveniles. Once they are at the age to be able to breed, I would worry then. But with BN plecos, I would think they would rather have an algae wafer than trying to battle a pair of fish for some food.

Slow moment. Do you mean the pleco eating the Julies or the pleco eating the Julies' offspring?

How big is your tank ?
Don't tell fish stories where people know you; but particularly, don't tell them where they know the fish.

I think the OP is using a 29gal as a holding tank and planning to use a 55gal later. He/she created another thread a while back asking for stocking opinions, so I'm basing my assumptions on that.

Found them. There's multiple threads about the OP's tanks.

                  #1: Stocking

                  #2: Holding tank
                  #3: Adding Frontosa

You get the idea. There's a more threads than just those 3 if I'm not mistaken.
