can someone help me determine how to sex my Oscar? can you tell by the anal fins or the two bumps on it's chest... j/k lol seriously i wish i knew if my Oscar was a he or a she.

Depends on age and sexual maturity & even then sometimes it's hard to tell. I wasn't able to tell what my two were until just a few weeks ago when they started doing the mating dance. My male has what I can best describe as "a spike" in the vent and the female doesn't. You have to be able to see the vent, which can be a challenge.180g - 2 Red Oscars, 1 Tiger Oscar, 1 JD, Convicts, convicts & more convicts
